What are temporary tattoos?

Temporary tattoos are stickers that are transferred to the skin by wetting the paper on the back. They are a very popular promotional gift for children.

Cosmetic decals

Our custom decals meet the European cosmetic standard at three complementary levels:

1. The manufacturing process. Grifoll has ISO 22716 certification, which guarantees good manufacturing practices for cosmetic products.
2. Raw materials. Our formulation complies with EC 1223:2009 regulations, and our sticker tattoos can carry the “Dermatologically tested” badge. Grifoll has REACH and a Security File in order to guarantee safe distribution throughout the European territory.
3. The installations. Our factory has been validated by the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products as suitable for the production of personalized temporary tattoos and water-based makeup.

In addition, as manufacturers of tattoos for children we comply with the EC 2009/48 Toy standard.

Temporary tattoos with effects

Stickers are a great promotional incentive, as they increase exposure to the brand and are collectible, facilitating repeat purchases. There are several ways to add value to personalized temporary tattoos, and the main one is the use of special effects:
